INTRODUCING OB
OB is a library of sounds from the Oberheim Expander and Marion Systems MSR-2 Synthes, with over 2GB of 24-bit .wav samples.A library of sounds made from two of great 80s analogue synths by legendary Tom Oberheim; The Oberheim Expander, and the extremely rare MSR-2. Both have the super-rich, gritty and raw analogue sound that Oberheim synths are famous for. The MSR-2 is an analogue monster, crammed into 1u of rack space. A classic analogue with many great features plus bags of quirks, charm and character!
This library has a good range of custom sounds from the Expander and MSR-2 covering a wide range of sounds; strings, pads, analogue keys, percussive, bass, raw Oberheim PWM and many, many more!
The Synth Magic OB sample library is designed for ease of use and big raw analogue sounds which can be quickly selected via easy to use sample select menus. All samples are streamed direct from disk.
Like all our instruments the samples are controlled by a intuitive graphical user interface (GUI). The GUI for OB was designed by world renowned GUI designer, Anders Hedstrom (aka Flavours of Lime).
We’ve also added lots of features such as 3 LFOs, effects, portamento, unison, a 16-step sequencer, arpeggiator and more!
There are over 200 presets included to start your sonic journey with OB, and remember, you can tweak these presets to your own taste very easily using the intuitive custom interface.
